Adventurers will find that there is an 80% chance that magic items worth 1000 GP or lower can be found in stock. For items up to 5000 GP value there is a 20% chance of being in stock. For more valuable items, these are auctioned off every quarter at the Alzarém Lodge. For non-members there is a 1000 GP entrance fee.

14) The Scholars' Inn: This is the largest inn in town owned by a Karivol Vheez (0-lvl, Hyperborean, LN). It has an extensive library that is open to patrons. It does not have the depth of the library at the Temple of Aurorus; “The Shining One,” but it has more current material. Nearly half of the rooms are rented to what remains of the Blackmarsh Guild of Magicians. Survivors of Actayl’s reign and the Hyperborean takeover have congregated here to restart the guild. However, the town’s mistrust has hindered their recovery.

15) The Farreacher Company of Adventurers: The Farreacher Company of Adventurers is largest company of caravanmasters in the Blackmarsh region. They organize overland caravans to Greywood, the Duchy of the Ostrobards and into the Southland. They can also go through the mountain passes; inland to Kimmerian Steppes. Marvair Taicaios (Ftr6, Common Human, LN) is the latest Captain General to lead the company and is constantly looking for new members to join as merchants, scouts, or guards.

16) Bogvil: Bogvil hold a few unkempt families that struggle a living from the nearby marsh; a dangerous life, and it is not uncommon to hear of a death or two from some lurking horror in it's depths as some swamp-gatherer stray to far inwards in search of a profitable bounty.

17) Swamp Farm: Scáthach Macc Macrath (0-lvl, Kelt, CN) lives here with his family and workers, who mostly take residence at Bogvil next to his farm. Here they harvest any useful material or foodstuff from the local marshes. There is a prosperous business in unusual dishes of frogs and or other amphibious creatures within Blackmarsh Castle.

18) Caravan Ground: Many of the caravans that arrive at Blackmarsh take residence on this plot of land, forming a circle with their wagons and posting guards to sentry their small bordered community. A small world in it's own is created and the city harlots and wenches, vendors and just those looking for something different, move between the small independent havens.

19) Lord Xunugon Graax Manor: The fenced manorhouse it not well protected until one reaches it's purple walls, it is built of thick stone blocks and has few lower windows, but plenty of arrow-slits to observe any intruders. Xunugon Graax lives here with his family, enough servants for his needs and a dozen guards. He manages the Morukul hamlet with mild indifference, but he is not a harsh overseer.

20) Morukul Hamlet, Pop: 85, Common Humans and Kelts (some Kimmerians and Hyperboreans); Align N; Ruler: Lord Xunugon Graax, Mag5, LN; Resource: Farm. This small hamlet supports the castle with food produce in the times of winter years, mid-Twilight (Mammoth, Year 11) to mid-Renaissance (Fish, Year 2), as this entire region freezes solid and the people of the castle and hamlet would starve if not for these resources. Grannies are filled with grain and underground stores are kept maintained by a dedicate team of clerics who keep the food purified if it becomes contaminated.

Guardhouse: Throughout the city are various guardhouses, containing a dozen guards, half asleep and half on duty. In larger stations, their will be twice that number, or quadruple and each will be assign a patrol that will meander the local district searching for trouble, these patrols with number 6 1-level warriors and 2nd level sergeant, fighter-type. A Hyperborean captain (4–6 level fighter-type) of the guard with 4 guardsmen will inspect these guardhouses periodically to ascertain if the functions of each guardhouse is as required. Official Office: Within the confines of the city, the official makes sure goods are recorded and taxes properly collected. They observe docking procedures are correct and orderly and strangers to the city are properly observed and seem to be law-abiding. They may not take names, depending on the official as it is not a requirement, but those that sneer at a determine, though not necessary righteous official might find themselves fined or throw in jail depending on his mood.
