The law that bind the Gods

The One — Architect of Infinity

The Silent Author of All That Is

Before there was dawn to break the dark, and before the void had form or boundary, there existed only The One. No tongue has ever spoken a name that might contain such a being, nor has any mind conceived a shape that might define it. The One is neither parent nor ruler, neither cruel nor kind, for such distinctions belong only to lesser things. It is said among the most learned that Infinity itself is but the faintest shadow cast by the thought of The One.

The Mortal Plane did not arise by chance, nor by passion, but through design both deliberate and absolute. Into the foundation of existence were etched two laws, unyielding and eternal, from which no god nor mortal may stray.

The first declares that prophecy, once fixed, cannot be undone, for the weaving of fate admits no unraveling. The second forbids any god from taking flesh upon the Mortal Plane, denying them the power of direct dominion. Thus are the divine constrained, forced to act through subtler means—through dreams that haunt the sleeping, through signs that stir the faithful, and through the hands of mortals who become their instruments.

The One does not hear prayer, nor does it answer. Yet every prayer uttered, every hope spoken into the void, exists only because The One permitted breath and being alike.
