To eliminate this anomaly, Pucci voluntarily paused the time acceleration before the new universe could complete its full cycle and permanently lock its history into place.
This pause was Pucci's undoing. Emporio weaponized the Stand Disc of the deceased Weather Report, filling the enclosed room with pure, toxic concentrations of oxygen. Paralyzed and suffocating, Pucci was killed by the child he sought to erase.
