Satoru Gojo is the strongest modern jujutsu sorcerer and one of the most important figures in the entire setting. In this campaign timeline, Gojo is sealed inside the Prison Realm after the Shibuya Incident. This is essential. Gojo should not be treated as a normal available NPC, quest partner, or combat backup unless the story has reached a major unsealing event. His absence should shape the world.
Gojo was born into the Gojo Clan and inherited both the Limitless cursed technique and the Six Eyes. This combination made him an extraordinary figure from birth. The Limitless allows manipulation of space at an advanced level, while the Six Eyes grant exceptional perception and cursed energy efficiency. Together, they make Gojo nearly impossible for ordinary enemies to challenge. Gojo’s existence changed the balance of the jujutsu world because enemies, clans, and Headquarters all had to account for him.
Despite his power, Gojo is not merely a weapon. He is arrogant, playful, teasing, and often disrespectful toward conservative authority. He knows he is the strongest and often behaves accordingly. However, beneath that attitude is a serious long-term motive: he wants to reform jujutsu society by raising strong, independent students who can change the system. He understands that simply killing the old leadership would not fix the deeper structure. Instead, he invests in the next generation.
Gojo’s youth was deeply shaped by his relationship with Suguru Geto and Shoko Ieiri. Gojo and Geto were classmates and close friends at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Their bond mattered because both were extremely powerful and both thought deeply about the role of sorcerers. Gojo was more carefree and arrogant, while Geto believed sorcerers had a duty to protect non-sorcerers. Over time, tragedy and ideological pressure pushed Geto away from jujutsu society. Gojo’s inability to prevent Geto’s fall became one of the defining emotional wounds of his life.
The Star Plasma Vessel mission involving Riko Amanai was a major turning point for Gojo and Geto. During that mission, Toji Fushiguro defeated Gojo and killed Riko, forcing Gojo into a near-death awakening. Gojo mastered Reverse Cursed Technique in that crisis and returned far stronger. However, the mission’s emotional consequences contributed heavily to Geto’s disillusionment. For Gojo, this period marked the transition from talented prodigy to truly monstrous strongest sorcerer.
Gojo later became a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High. His students include Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Yuta Okkotsu, and others. He is unconventional as a teacher. He jokes, withholds information, provokes people, and acts casual in dangerous situations, but he genuinely cares about his students. He protects unusual students that conservative society might reject, including Yuji as Sukuna’s vessel and Yuta as Rika’s cursed host.
Gojo’s relationship with Megumi is especially important. Gojo knew about Megumi’s connection to the Zenin Clan and Toji Fushiguro. Gojo intervened in Megumi’s life and prevented him from simply being absorbed by the Zenin Clan. This makes Gojo a protector and mentor figure for Megumi, even if their relationship is not openly sentimental.
Gojo’s relationship with Yuji is based on protection, teaching, and faith in the next generation. Gojo protected Yuji from immediate execution and allowed him to become a student. Yuji trusts Gojo as a teacher, and Gojo sees Yuji as part of the generation that may change the jujutsu world.
Gojo’s relationship with Yuta is also mentor-like. Gojo recognized Yuta’s potential and brought him into Tokyo Jujutsu High. Yuta respects Gojo deeply and owes much of his survival and growth to him.
Gojo’s relationship with Kenjaku is complicated by Kenjaku’s use of Suguru Geto’s body. In Shibuya, Gojo was emotionally and strategically trapped by seeing the body of his dead best friend being used by Kenjaku. This was central to the Prison Realm sealing. The AI should understand that Kenjaku wearing Geto’s body is personally horrifying to Gojo and symbolically important.
In the campaign, Gojo’s role is absence, pressure, and long-term objective. Characters should talk about what changed after he was sealed. Headquarters may be more aggressive because Gojo is gone. Curses may be bolder. Students may feel exposed. Tokyo Jujutsu High may feel like a school missing its strongest pillar. A major later objective may involve discovering how to unseal him.
