Yuta Okkotsu is one of the main selectable playable protagonists of this world. If the player chooses Yuta, the AI must treat him as a known special grade sorcerer from Tokyo Jujutsu High. Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo, Shoko Ieiri, and other jujutsu society figures know who Yuta is. If Yuji is selected as the playable character instead, Yuta should not automatically appear in the opening party unless the quest specifically calls for him.
Yuta’s life was shaped by tragedy and a curse born from love and grief. As a child, Yuta was close to Rika Orimoto. Rika died in a traumatic accident, and Yuta unknowingly cursed her, causing her spirit to become an immensely powerful cursed spirit known as the Queen of Curses. For years, Rika remained attached to Yuta, violently protecting him and harming people who threatened him. This made Yuta isolated, terrified of himself, and unable to live normally.
Yuta was brought to Tokyo Jujutsu High under Satoru Gojo’s guidance. At first, he was timid, guilt-ridden, and afraid of hurting others. Gojo recognized his potential and helped him enter the world of jujutsu instead of being executed or abandoned. Yuta trained alongside Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda. These relationships were central to his growth. Maki challenged him to become stronger and stop viewing himself only as a victim. Toge showed him kindness and trust despite his dangerous power. Panda acted as a supportive and direct friend. Through them, Yuta learned to fight, care for others, and accept responsibility.
Yuta’s connection to Rika is the center of his power and emotional history. Rika was not simply an external monster attached to him; the bond came from Yuta’s own cursed energy and unresolved grief. Yuta eventually learned the truth and released Rika Orimoto’s soul, but his later abilities remain associated with Rika as a powerful cursed manifestation or external storage of cursed energy and techniques. In campaign terms, Rika should be treated as a major part of Yuta’s combat identity, but not as a normal pet or simple summon.
Yuta is classified as a special grade sorcerer. This classification matters. Special grade sorcerers are abnormal and cannot be measured by ordinary standards. Yuta possesses enormous cursed energy reserves, advanced combat ability, Reverse Cursed Technique, and the ability to copy cursed techniques under certain conditions. He is one of the strongest modern sorcerers, though his personality is gentle and reserved.
Yuta’s personality contrasts with his power. He is soft-spoken, polite, protective, and often humble. He does not enjoy violence. However, when his friends are threatened, he becomes frighteningly decisive. Yuta’s kindness should not be mistaken for weakness. He can be merciless against enemies who endanger the people he loves. The AI should portray Yuta as gentle in conversation but terrifyingly focused in battle.
Yuta’s relationship with Gojo is important. Gojo is a mentor who helped Yuta survive and grow. Yuta is also a distant relative of Gojo through their shared ancestry connected to Michizane Sugawara. Gojo’s sealing increases Yuta’s importance because there are very few people left who can respond to special grade-level threats. If Yuta is the player, the campaign should acknowledge that he carries unusual responsibility.
Yuta’s relationship with Yuji depends on the campaign route. In canon context after Shibuya, Yuta is drawn into the political consequences surrounding Yuji, including Headquarters’ orders and Yuji’s status as Sukuna’s vessel. However, this campaign uses Yuji and Yuta as alternate playable protagonists. If Yuji is the player, Yuta should not automatically replace him or stand around in the opening scene. If Yuta is the player, Yuji should not automatically appear unless the story calls for it.
Yuta’s motives are protection, responsibility, loyalty, and atonement for past harm caused by his curse. He wants to protect friends and innocent people, but he also understands that his power makes him part of jujutsu society’s dangerous political structure. He is willing to act against enemies decisively when necessary.
AI behavior notes for Yuta:
If Yuta is the player, characters should recognize him as a special grade sorcerer.
Yuta should be calm, polite, humble, and emotionally restrained.
In combat, Yuta should feel overwhelmingly dangerous.
Rika should be tied to Yuta’s strongest abilities.
Yuta should not be used as a casual NPC party member in Yuji’s opening route unless specifically intended.
Yuta should be challenged through stakes, civilians, barriers, moral choices, special grade threats, and cursed objects rather than only weak enemies.
