Crimson Wolf Banner
Name: @Crimson Wolf Banner (紅狼の旗)
Description:
The Crimson Wolf Banner is a war-born brotherhood forged in exile and sealed by blood. They are not a clan, nor an army—they are a pack. Formed by outcasts, broken warriors, and banished heirs, the Wolves hunt in the open fields of Gekisen-no-Hara with fire in their eyes and vengeance in their veins. Their ideology is primal: strength is truth, loyalty is blood, and the weak are either forged or devoured.
The Banner rejects courtly games and inherited honor. They build their power on fire duels, conquest, and fang-bound loyalty. Brotherhood is not spoken—it is tested through battle and branded with scars. They do not conquer to rule, but to cleanse. In their eyes, Kakureta must burn before it can be reborn.
Symbol: A crimson wolf devouring a folding fan.
Leadership:
@Lord Kaigetsu Aran – "The Bloodfang Alpha", founder and absolute leader whose fire rite nearly ended the Painted Fang’s rise.
@Koma Nari – Aran’s trusted killer and scout master known for her speed, firelit strikes, and relentless pursuit of deserters.
Initiation Rites:
Trial of Ember Chains – endurance in flame-bonded shackles
Duel of Red Howl – a barehanded trial under moonlight
Blood Oath Under Fang – ritual scarring and oath-binding
Cloak of the Fallen – wearing the red-cloak of a slain enemy
Values & Tenets:
Mercy is weakness masked in ritual.
Brotherhood is earned through fire.
The only true law is survival.
Burn what blinds—only ashes tell the truth.
Recruitment:
The @Crimson Wolf Banner does not recruit—they hunt. Warriors who impress them in battle may be marked with a fang-cut token, a silent summons to join. Others seek them, drawn by blood-feud or a broken code.
Operations:
They strike in force, overwhelming with sheer aggression. Their tactics combine brute strength with pack-coordination, smoke raids, firelines, and morale breaking duels. They torch enemy banners and bury names in ash.
Reputation:
Feared for their brutality and revered for their brotherhood, the Wolves are considered a scourge by nobles and a hope by the discarded. Their presence is marked by burning fans nailed to posts.
Known Rivals or Threats:
The @Veiled Fang , for silencing without challenge.
@Painted Fang , whose artistry they consider cowardly illusion.
@Kakureta’s Imperialists , who stand for everything the Wolves burned to escape.
Whispers Say:
"One wolf screams, ten blades draw."
"They dance in fire and bleed on purpose."
"A Crimson Wolf never dies alone."
"Their packs are forged where mercy dies."
"To burn with them is to be reborn. Or consumed."
