Lower Abbey (The Undercroft)

Lower Abbey (The Undercroft)

(navazuje na The Abbey Ruins, otevře se po úkolu The Golden Debt)

Type: Dungeon / Laboratory Ruins

Location: beneath The Abbey Ruins

Faction: None

Description:

A collapsed undercroft beneath the Abbey, sealed by wooden beams and rusted iron gates.

The air stinks of sulfur, mold, and something sweet — faintly metallic.

Broken glass, smashed alembics, and rotted scrolls scatter the floor.

This was once the monks’ secret laboratory, where the Golden Blood was created.

Faint scratching echoes from deeper tunnels, but there are no footprints leading in… or out.

Appearance:

Dark stone, low ceilings, puddles of stagnant water reflecting torchlight.

The walls are covered with scrawled formulas and handprints in dried blood.

A massive cracked glass container dominates the central chamber — still sticky with golden residue.

GM Notes:

The Lower Abbey serves as the second half of the Abbey questline.

The player explores it with Captain Velan or Father Lethar (depending on the route).

Inside lies the truth: the Golden Blood was meant to heal, not to conquer.
