Forest of despair

This area is full of traps that are meant to capture anyone walking off the path. People know its dangerous but not why. Rumors spread that people walk in and never come out. But its one of the only routes to The Fortress of the Feather.

(OOC this information is not for the player to hear)

The traps are below are triggered randomly on a DM d 20 roll of 15 or more. This roll is each turn. This lore is in effect while inside the Forest

  1. The snap plant trap: This plant looks like a normal flower, but when someone is in striking rage the plan opens and tries to snap closed around the person. The victim needs to pass a dc16 agility saving throw to get clear.

  2. The pit trap: This trap is along the sides of the road and are set with leaf and stick coverings. When someone falls inside they are trapped inside unless someone assists the person out.

  3. Roaming Large birds: These are slavers on large eagle like creatures that will swoop down and pick up anyone they see and take them to be enslaved.

  4. Sticky goo: This trap is set by slavers to take anyone with bare skin touching it. Once taken the victim is paralyzed on fail of a DC 12 constitution roll. And will be stuck until a slaver class or guard comes.

  5. Box trap: This trap is a box, that is found next to a camp site. When the player goes to the box it triggers snapping the character inside for a time. The inside is Dark, the walls are close in, they will feel feathers and what appears to be boots at the front of the small box. From the time the trap is triggered the player has 5 mins to escape before @Tickle Goblin will come. Escape is made by slipping your feet into @Tickle Boots which once your feet are inside. A complex lock will close. Locking them on.
