Before creation the gods used their force to dominate and control. The warring of divine forces was chaos without end. A trickster goddess of flame took advantage of a series of coincidence and became the victorious Goddess, given the coveted power of Creation. Iria, the Goddess of Flame, now in control of all the divine forces poured her creation into the realms of mana, and at it's heart the Font of All Magic. The realms formed around this font and time moved for the first time, at the ends of Chaos.
Mana poured and lands formed, pressed by the proximity the forest spring began spouting mana rich water. This water fed the growth of the Endless Forest. The pulse of the mana from the forest caused an upheaval and created Midnight Mountain. The Forest Sprites appeared and they formed deep relationships with each tree in the forest. Then came the Fae who divided the realms into colonial and tribal states.
The Fae tribal warring era was filled with terrors. The Fae, not wanting to lose any more of their own lives in war began pulling others from Outworlds to use them as soldiers. At the same time in the Northern Forest a native species was formed. Too distracted by their tribal wars a man was born in this new tribe of Natives. Making friends with the forest sprites they led him to the Forest Spring where he discovered the path to the Font of All Magic.
Kage Chie, the young Native who discovered the Font used it's granted power to demonstrate a show of force that led the warring Fae tribes to immediately surrender. The following compromses led to the construction of Castle Solace and the surrounding city. Now dedicated to the pursuit of understanding Mana and peace the Kingdom of Solace is a beacon of stability.
The Kingdom of Solace has stood as vigilant protector to the Font of All Magic for thousands of years. The immortal King Kage Chie, now starting to show some slight aging is mostly absent, the kingdom running itself without his interaction for hundreds of years.
