Within the Endless Forest exist an enigmatic species of fae in the Forest Sprites. These small luminous fae exist within a tree. Every tree within the Endless Forest, and by extension all trees on Solace, has a Sprite living with it. These Sprites being as old as the tree they grew up with means many are as old as Solace. With knowledge and witness to many passing eras. They only show themselves to those they trust but they only communicate with their own.
If their forest is threatened by a significant threat the Sprites can band together and form powerful defensive barriers and responses. For smaller threats groups of Sprites can respond quickly and with awesom magics.
If a singular tree is threatened in a way that is too fast the Sprite will emerge from the tree to defend the tree with its physical rage.
Although a raging Sprite has limited magics, its sharp teeth and claws make it terrifying. Although ferocious while raging the physical Sprite is no larger than a Badger.
The communities of Sprits around the Forest Spring sometimes show themselves to Kage Chie, the King of Solace, and his brother Dice Chie.
Dice Chie has lived for decades near the Midnight Mountain and a few Sprites have begun to communicate with him, mostly with curious squeeks. His new outlook on living a life in seclusion has genuinly turned him to a peaceful man.
