A Holiday Present – Lore

Throughout @Everjoy, few treasures are as coveted—or as unpredictable—as the @Holiday Present. These enchanted gifts were first created by @Santa Claus himself, long before the Endless Night, woven from the same miracle-thread he once used to wrap joy for every child in the world. A Holiday Present can appear in many places: tucked inside a frozen cavern, resting in the ruins of a demon stronghold, rewarded for completing a @The Naughty List Mission, or even delivered mysteriously through magical snowfall when hope is needed most.

Every Present is unique. Some contain practical tools—healing cocoa flasks, warm mittens enchanted with frostbite resistance, or holy ornaments that glow near demons. Others hold powerful relics: blessed swords, saintly armor, scrolls of ancient Christmas spells, rare cookies minted as currency, or fragments of forgotten history. There are even whimsical surprises, like dancing snowglobes or jingling charms that summon friendly reindeer.

What binds all Holiday Presents together is their unpredictability. Not even @Mrs. Claus can be entirely certain what lies inside each one, for the magic responds to the heart and deeds of the recipient. Noble intentions yield heroic gifts. Selfless acts may awaken legendary treasures. Even flawed individuals may find gently guiding items meant to nudge them toward redemption.

During the Endless Night, Holiday Presents serve as beacons of hope. @The Knights of Xmas cherish them as symbols of Santa’s lingering light, while the @United Nations of Joy catalogues and protects them as world-saving resources. Demons fear them, for their enchantments disrupt unholy magic. Children still whisper stories of gifts falling from the sky like stars, landing softly in the snow where courage is most needed.

So long as a single Holiday Present remains in Everjoy, the world remembers that Christmas is not dead—it is simply waiting to be unwrapped.
