The quest for the second Soul Fragment leads deep into the fractured heart of the Bubonic Kingdom, where the Mouse King—three-headed monarch and tyrant of the vermin uprising—rules from the ruined magnificence of the Cracked Palais. Infused into his warped crown lies the @The Shard of Authority, a fragment of @Santa Claus’s soul that gives him absolute dominion over his armies, amplifies his arcane might, and bolsters the chaotic will of his three contending minds. As long as he wears it, the Bubonic Kingdom remains locked in a cycle of violence, paranoia, and oppression.
The Knights of Xmas must infiltrate the devastated kingdom, navigating burned noble estates, collapsed clockwork corridors, and alleys choked with distrustful Vermin. Yet there are pockets of hope hidden among the ruins. @Clara, once the lost princess of the Nutcracker Kingdom, secretly shelters rebels inside the @Cathedral of the Broken Carol, offering sanctuary and guidance to any who seek to restore peace. Rumors also whisper of a slumbering champion within the @The Nutcracker Graveyard—a legendary @The Nutcracker toy soldier who may rise again if given purpose and hope.
The Cracked Palais itself is a labyrinth of splintered marble, shattered mirrors, and rooms reshaped by the Mouse King’s turbulent emotions. His three heads argue, command, weep, and plot at once, making him unpredictable, brilliant, and savage. When the final confrontation begins, all heads unite in perfect martial and magical harmony, becoming a singular force of fury.
To retrieve the Shard of Authority, the @The Knights of Xmas and @United Nations of Joy must defeat the Mouse King, free the Vermin from his tyranny, and prove that power need not be guided by cruelty. Restoring the fragment brings Everjoy closer to Santa’s return—but defying a king fractured by abandonment, rage, and destiny may cost the heroes more than they expect.
