The Naughty List identifies a growing magical contamination spreading across the snowy forests east of the Wendigo territories. The source is revealed to be The Cat Witch, the broken toyfolk sorceress who commands the sickly magic known as the Yuletide Rot. Once a beloved toy discarded by a wealthy child, she was found and twisted by the @The Endless Parade. Now she lives in a crooked, frost-bitten @The Cat Witch Hut sealed inside a ring of dying trees, laughing through a shattered voice and whispering her belief that love is a lie.
The Yuletide Rot has begun seeping into the bodies and minds of nearby Wendigo tribes, accelerating their descent into madness. Several already show signs of irreversible corruption, and if the Rot reaches their chieftain, @Barbara, the @The Hollyhorn Tribe Encampment may lose the last of its willpower and fall fully to @Krampus.
The Cat Witch drifts between sorrow and cruelty, lashing out at anyone who approaches her home. She conjures malformed toy-constructs, corrupts wildlife, and infects the land with a spreading fungal frost. But beneath it all, she still longs—quietly, desperately—for affection she believes she will never receive.
@The Knights of Xmas or @United Nations of Joy task is to infiltrate the @Hollyhunger Wilds, confront the Cat Witch, and put an end to her spreading plague before it consumes the entire region. Destroy her fetid cauldron, resist her mind-twisting whispers, and beware: the more her loneliness is challenged, the more violently she tries to smother it with magic.
If she falls, the Yuletide Rot will weaken, and the Wendigo people may yet be saved from becoming feral horrors.
