The PRSS Nuwa landed in the KYV-2 Crater in order to investigate if the planned spacecraft EURO-01 did or did not, in fact, leave earth. Since both the Nuwa and the Eden took off while the Euro was still being built, none of the inhabitants in either ship know of its fate.
The PRSS Nuwa landed on earth one month before the USSF Eden. In a short span of time, something horrible happened to the ship structure to the point it got ripped apart. There doesn't seem to be any survivors, at least not in the ship structure. Records on the Ship seem to indicate that there's a cave near what used to be the proposed launch site of the EURO-01. It seems they wanted to investigate the sediment layers for trace of a launch.
