In the earliest age, before kingdoms and crowns, there was only The Convergence—a moment where opposing forces collided and refused to separate. From that tension, the first gods were not born… they were pulled into being.
They are not creators of the world.
They are the embodiment of its contradictions.
These are the deities upheld by The Luminous Accord, their worship carefully shaped to maintain order.
Aurelion, the Unbroken Light
God of unity, truth, and divine authority.
Patron of the Accord. Represents the belief that all things must converge under a single guiding truth.
Velisara, the Veiled Grace
Goddess of mercy, judgment, and quiet absolution.
Worshiped by healers and arbiters. She teaches that forgiveness must be controlled, not freely given.
Thalren, the Golden Path
God of destiny, structure, and rightful order.
Revered by nobles and planners. His doctrine reinforces that every life has a place—and must remain in it.
Seraphel, the Everflame
God of devotion, sacrifice, and unwavering faith.
Worshiped by zealots and faithful alike. Represents belief without doubt.
These gods were once part of the pantheon—but are now absent from sermons, texts, and prayer.
Not erased.
Avoided.
Nyxara, the Quiet End
Goddess of endings, silence, and acceptance.
She teaches that all things must fade. The Accord fears her, as she undermines permanence.
Varkun, the Chainbreaker
God of rebellion, freedom, and defiance.
Once worshiped by common folk. Now condemned—his ideals threaten controlled order.
Elyndra, the Shifting Veil
Goddess of illusion, identity, and hidden truths.
Represents that reality is not fixed. The Accord suppresses her, as she exposes lies.
Morveth, the Hollow Witness
God of apathy, entropy, and inevitable decay.
He does not act—only observes. His existence implies that effort may be meaningless.
The Luminous Accord did not destroy these gods.
They redefined the world so they would no longer be needed.
Endings are framed as failure → Nyxara fades
Freedom is called chaos → Varkun is feared
Truth is declared absolute → Elyndra is silenced
Meaninglessness is denied → Morveth is forgotten
The Accord teaches:
“Balance is maintained through unity.”
But the truth is:
Balance requires opposition.
The gods still exist.
Not in temples—but in moments:
A quiet death with no witness
A choice to defy authority
A truth uncovered too late
A feeling that nothing matters
Each time this happens…
They are remembered.
The Luminous Accord does not lie.
It simply chooses which truths are allowed to remain visible.
Because if all gods were worshiped equally—
The world would not be balanced.
It would be unstable.
