Hideouts

Mafia architecture can best be described as seedy gambling dens or office buildings. They favor casinos, bars and private warehouses where they can set up gambling dens and stolen property storage areas.

Markings

Mafia clothing heavily features well-made tailored suits. There are usually no distinguishing tattoos or markings as the higher-ranking members prefer to look like upstanding business entrepreneurs. They do not mark their territory to avoid drawing attention to their holdings.

Criminal History

The Mafia are known for gambling, prostitution, stolen property, and extortion. The ‘Mafiosos’ are also known to have a complete lack of empathy for anyone living within the constraints of the law, calling them ‘Dupes’. Originally a criminal organization that carried over from Earth, the Mafia was a group of families that settled into Luna City looking out for their shared interests. Establishing casinos and labor unions that grew into a larger lucrative gambling and extortion enterprise. Catering to the poor and destitute, they lure corporate rejects and outsiders who either owe large sums of money or are indebted somehow. They offer money and assistance to those that are desperate in exchange for services and loyalties. However, to be an important or ranking individual member in the organization members must undergo a lengthy vetting process to become ‘Made’ where loyalty is heavily tested. Once their loyalty is proven beyond question, ‘Made’ individuals are then allowed to start their own crew or given more important tasks for the Mafia. Every member of the gang must pay profit tithes to their superiors.
