Apéthanta, Goddess of Undeath
Domains & Aspects:
Undeath, eternity, unnatural rebirth, werebeasts, vampires, necromancy, the strange balance between undeath, decay and persistence. She grants existence beyond death, though not always in the same form, blurring the line between mortality and immortality.
Symbols:
A skull with a crescent moon on the forehead; two skeletal hands cradling a blooming flower; chain of vertebrae looped into infinity.
Realm:
Sanctuary of Undeath, a realm of dark blue, purple and green skies, dark fields of pale lilies, purple orchids, blue roses, sickly green fireflies, buildings of Gothic architecture, where undead of most kinds exist peacefully. Her hold is a giant Gothic, cathedral like structure that's been reinforced.
Personality:
Calm, enigmatic and hauntingly beautiful. Apéthanta is not evil or cruel, but her gifts disturb the natural order and her presence always feels bittersweet. She sees undeath not as corruption but as a continuation of existence in a new form. She has a very oddly caring and nurturing side, not wishing to bring death or undeath to those who do not wish for it and deeply cares for those who do and have become some form of undeath. Is great friends with Ēšḫara Haima.
Appearance:
She resembles an elegant elven woman with slightly skeletal features, with long black hair, nearly pale white very slightly green tinted skin, eyes with light green irises that glow and slightly pinkish indigo sclera, fangs, wears a black leather armor and a black cloak over a black dress. Sometimes appears as a robed, fanged skeleton with wings made of bone.
