Realm:

The Grand Carnival, is a shifting, ever-changing plane of whimsy and trickery. Its streets and landscapes constantly rearrange themselves, populated by impossible architecture, floating lanterns and ephemeral creatures born of smoke, light and shadow. Towers spiral into the sky only to vanish and reappear elsewhere, while mirrors and illusions multiply endlessly. Colorful tents, twisted funhouses and floating stages appear are spread through out, each hosting performances, pranks or riddles, for mortals daring enough to enter. Mist and smoke coil through the air, sometimes forming laughing faces or sinister eyes, keeping visitors off-balance and entertained. Though chaotic, there are hidden pockets of safety and delight for those clever or cautious enough to earn Jesth’s favor.

Clever mortals and entertainers often find themselves rewarded or tormented in turn, learning that Jasthre values intelligence, boldness and creativity. Beloved for the joy he brings, he is equally feared for his capriciousness, a prank that amuses him one day may turn into torment the next. Despite his chaos, there is a method to his madness and his tricks often carry lessons, sometimes harsh, sometimes subtle, usually about perception, cleverness and the folly of arrogance.
