Nàdair, The Forest Goddess

Nàdair, The Forest Goddess

Domains & Aspects:

Forests, plants, fae, spirits, animals, beasts, werebeasts, rain, flowers, growth, wisdom, harmony of life.

Symbols:

A tree entwined with vines; a head of a wolf with antlers wearing a crown of flowers and vines; a chimera holding an apple.

Realm:

The Everwild, an eternal, untamed forest stretching beyond mortal comprehension. Towering trees with roots as thick as rivers form natural cathedrals where sunlight filters down in golden shafts. Bioluminescent flora glows in the twilight groves, casting emerald and sapphire light on the mossy ground. A vast river runs through the heart of the realm, feeding into a thundering waterfall that cascades into a crystalline lake, its waters brimming with both serenity and hidden depth. The Everwild is home to every kind of creature, from humble deer and wolves to mighty chimeras, a variety of fae courts and ancient forest spirits who whisper forgotten wisdom roam throughout various parts of the realm. When it rains, the drops shimmer like liquid silver. Deep within The Everwild rises The Greenheart, colossal living tree, taller than mountains, its bark etched with glowing runes of life. Within its roots lies a natural chamber of living wood lit by glowing vines and fireflies. At its heart rests Nàdair’s throne of entwined wood and crystal, ever-blooming with flowers. Here, she communes with spirits, fae, her devoted or those who call on her.

Personality:

Nàdair is calm, patient, collected, wise beyond measure and kind to those who respect animals, nature and the harmony of life. She embodies patience, listening deeply to the rhythms of the forest and the spirits within. Though protective and nurturing, she carries a wild and untamed ferocity. To those who defile her woods or bring cruelty to the creatures under her care, she is as relentless as the storm, as merciless as a wolf’s jaws. To mortals who seek her guidance, she is a gentle and compassionate teacher, offering wisdom in her sayings, stories, visions and sometimes riddles for the not so serious things. In all things, Nàdair is the living embodiment of the forest itself: serene and nurturing, but primal, fierce and eternal.

Appearance:

Usually appears as a female humanoid hybrid of deer and wolf, eyes with deep, slightly grayish leaf green irises, reddish golden sclera and vertically slitted pupils, deer antlers, long wavy dark green hair, green and white fur, sometimes with the wings of a peacock, occasionally with scales or partially made of leaves, vines and plant material, normally wearing a dark green bliu dress, stylish green robes and a silver emerald amulet.
