Talamh, God of Earth and Ore

Talamh, God of Earth and Ore

Domains & Aspects:

Earth, stone, clay, mountains, volcanoes, ore, metal, smithing, mining, hammers, resilience, durability.

Symbols:

A crossed pickhammer and hammer over the center of a mountain; a mountain with molten veins; a hammer and anvil.

Realm:

The Stoneheart Depths — A realm of endless cavernous halls stretch beneath titanic mountains, their walls encrusted with veins of every known ore, stone, mineral, crystals and gemstones. Rivers of molten lava and glowing veins of metal flow like blood through the earth, illuminating the grand forges and vaulting caverns. At its core lies Talamh’s colossal fortress of mithril and steel, built into the beating heart of the Stoneheart Depths. Its vast halls are alive with the roaring of furnaces, the thunder of anvils, and the glow of molten streams. Here, Talamh’s workshop sprawls endlessly, filled with forges for weapons, armor, tools and mechanisms beyond mortal design. Molten waterfalls of every known metal cascade from carved stone channels into vast smelting chambers, feeding the great forges and providing Talamh with the purest material for his craft. The fortress is both temple and forge, a place where endurance is carved in stone and metal, and where creations meant to last forever are born.

Personality:

Stalwart and unmovable as the bedrock, Talamh embodies endurance, resilience and unwavering strength. He is straightforward, gruff and stubborn, yet beneath his roughness lies a deep well of loyalty and even humor, often found in dry wit. His patience is vast and steady like the mountains, yet when pushed too far, his fury bursts forth with the devastating power of a volcanic eruption. To mortals and gods alike, he is both a craftsman and a protector, a master of smithing, forging and creation, whose works endure beyond ages. Though he demands respect and effort from those who seek his aid, he has a fondness for hard workers, smiths, miners, builders and have endured hardship.

Appearance:

He resembles a tall, wide, very muscular dwarf male with marbled tan skin, the marbling being veins of various ore, ears like a rhinos, eyes that look like they're made of polished opal, irises made of diamond and pupils made of ruby, long hair and beard made of tungsten in a braid, wears fully armored mithril chausses and gauntlets, usually bare chested or wearing thick, heavy mithril armor, usually carrying his personal large smithing hammer, able to hammer any material to his will with it.
