The Kingdom of Rebmos is located in the large northwestern continent in Lymbus. They are led by King Douglas Northington the 3rd, whose family holds complete reign of the country.
Rebmos is a wealthy land, second only to the Staircase of Heaven in its opulence. Most of its inhabitants enjoy convenience and luxuries rarely afforded to the other continents. If they're afforded at all.
In fact, such conveniences and luxuries are afforded far too quickly for its citizens to acclimate. As a consequence, those who are not prepared for the rapid changes suffer tremendously, which results in several efforts to slow -- or outright stop -- Rebmos' technological progress.
Rebmos' dominant faith is of the Anointed, and as such, the Holy Order of the Anointed has a prominent presence in the kingdom in all aspects, including its military. In fact, those of the Anointed are seen as the military's elite soldiers. If they are called, the situation is grave. And they are the ones to solve it.
The elite of Rebmos as a whole are generally seen as politically corrupt; each figure either owes or is owed a favor from the Northington Royal Family. The harshest of punishments is visited upon any who break the structure of these favors, intentionally or otherwise.
There are many towns and villages within Rebmos, but few cities. Of the few, Kaldius stands tallest. The most technologically advanced of all Rebmos cities, it is the hub of kingdom, and most -- if not all -- decisions made within its borders directly affect all within the continent.
