Region: Veridian Fields, along the river north of Panshaw | Patron faith: Old Growth, informal Meri worship | Governance: Informal — a respected village elder, currently Elder Wenna Hart
A small farming village of roughly 20 households, living off grain, fishing, and trade passing between Panshaw and points north. Home to the Broken Wheel tavern, unofficial town hall in all but name.
Founded, according to local legend, when the village's first settler's wagon wheel broke at the current crossroads and he simply decided the universe had made the decision for him. Historians find this charming and almost certainly untrue; Millbrook residents don't much care either way.
The disappearances resolved in Campaign 1 remain a genuine scar on the community. Tomas Voss has physically recovered; several residents note he's quieter than before, though nothing more troubling than ordinary trauma has been observed. Mira Voss has become something of an informal advocate for village safety since, more involved in local decisions than she was before her son vanished.
Quiet, insular in the unremarkable way of most small farming communities, genuinely warm to travelers who show basic courtesy. Older residents still lock doors earlier than they did before the disappearances — a habit that's outlasted the actual danger.
