THISTLE, THE LUCKY DEBT

Domains: Trickery | Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Symbol: A single coin balanced on its edge Holy Day: None official, on the theory that scheduled worship would defeat the point

History and Character

There are no temples to Thistle because there's no consensus on what one would even look like. A "shrine" might be a specific lucky chair at a specific tavern, a street corner where someone once found a coin, a card table with an unbeaten winning streak. Worship is personal, superstitious, and almost never admitted to out loud — Quarion Moonwhisper would flatly deny praying to Thistle before a performance, immediately before doing exactly that.

Notable Myth — "The Debt Collector"

Thistle is said to grant a run of extraordinary luck to anyone who asks sincerely — but the luck is always, eventually, called in, usually at the worst possible moment, for something entirely unrelated to what it was originally granted for. The myth functions as both explanation and warning: enjoy your luck, but don't assume it's free.

Relationships

Friendly, long-running rivalry with Sevanna.

Taboo

None formally codified — extremely on-brand for a faith that resists being pinned down.
