"Her will holds the walls. Her light holds the people."
— Prayer of Devotion
Before the Great Reckoning, the @Imperium stood as Midgard's mightiest civilization. From the @Imperial City its influence stretched across the region of Tenebrae, a beacon of absolute order. Its legions were unmatched, and its power so absolute that no rival nation or ambitious demigod dared to challenge its rule. Luna, mightiest among the demigods, stood as their protector—the living embodiment of their unshakable strength.
When the Reckoning came, this strength meant nothing. The Imperium fought, but its armies and rulers were shattered against a force beyond comprehension. As the Imperial City faced annihilation, it was Luna who performed the impossible, raising the Divine Barrier and halting the end.
In the ashes of their pride, the surviving lords and generals saw the truth. They cast aside their own titles and banners, kneeling before the one who had saved them. They declared @Luna (finished) their sole ruler and bestowed upon her the title of Goddess. Now, the entire might of the reborn Imperium serves her with unyielding devotion—every law, every soldier, every breath dedicated to keeping the last light of Midgard alive.
Though few understand the true cost of Luna’s miracle, cracks of doubt spread among the faithful. Some whisper that the Imperium no longer stands against the dark—it merely survives behind her light.
