Military Ranks of the Exodia Inquisition

Military Ranks of the Exodia Inquisition

Hierarchy and Monthly Pay in Halo Currency

The Exodia Inquisition is both a religious authority and a global military force tasked with defending the world from demon lords, undead tyrants, cursed magic, and other threats to the Sanctified Cycle. Because the organization operates across @The Holy Exodia Empire, @Oktoberland, and @Dragoon Island, it maintains a standardized military structure and payment system based on the Halo Currency System.

All salaries are paid monthly through official Exodia treasuries and may be supplemented with bounties, mission rewards, confiscated demon artifacts, and Adventurer League cooperation bonuses.

The amounts below represent the base monthly salary, not including rewards from demon hunts or large campaigns.

Novitiate Tier — Initiates of Faith

These are the entry ranks where recruits learn doctrine, combat, and magical discipline.

Initiate

Role:
New recruits undergoing training. Initiates guard temples, assist priests, perform patrol duties, and study demonology and Exodia doctrine.

Monthly Pay:
25 @Silver Halo
(Equivalent to about 25 standard dollars)

Most Initiates live inside Exodia compounds where food, lodging, and equipment are provided.

Acolyte

Role:
Junior operatives who assist full Inquisitors. Acolytes begin learning battlefield roles such as healing, magical investigation, and monster hunting.

Monthly Pay:
75 @Silver Halo
(Equivalent to 75 dollars)

Acolytes are often sent on minor missions or accompany investigation teams.

Operative Tier — Field Agents

These ranks perform the majority of demon hunts and investigations.

Inquisitor

Role:
The standard field agent of Exodia. Inquisitors hunt demon cults, investigate supernatural events, and lead small squads.

Monthly Pay:
2 @Pure Halo + 50 @Silver Halo
(Equivalent to 250 dollars)

Most Inquisitors earn far more through demon hunt bounties and monster extermination contracts.

Senior Inquisitor

Role:
Veteran operatives who lead investigation teams and oversee demon hunting operations across cities and regions.

Monthly Pay:
5 @Pure Halo
(Equivalent to 500 dollars)

Senior Inquisitors are often feared by cultists and demon followers due to their experience.

High Inquisitor

Role:
Elite specialists trusted with large missions, dangerous demon lords, or major supernatural crises.

Monthly Pay:
10 @Pure Halo
(Equivalent to 1,000 dollars)

High Inquisitors frequently coordinate with Saints, kingdoms, or Adventurer Guilds.

Command Tier — Military Leadership

These officers command large forces and strategic operations.

Marshal Inquisitor

Role:
Regional commanders responsible for entire provinces or important cities. They coordinate armies, investigations, and diplomatic operations.

Monthly Pay:
20 @Pure Halo
(Equivalent to 2,000 dollars)

Marshal Inquisitors also receive war funds when leading campaigns.

Grand Marshal

Role:
Supreme battlefield commanders responsible for crusades, wars against demon kingdoms, or large-scale invasions.

Monthly Pay:
40 @Pure Halo
(Equivalent to 4,000 dollars)

Grand Marshals command tens of thousands of troops during major conflicts.

Sacred Authority Tier — Religious Command

These leaders determine strategy for the entire Inquisition.

Arch Inquisitor

Role:
Continental authorities who govern entire branches of the Inquisition. They authorize crusades, manage international diplomacy, and decide global priorities.

Monthly Pay:
100 @Pure Halo
(Equivalent to 10,000 dollars)

Arch Inquisitors are among the most powerful individuals in the Sanctified Cycle.

Supreme Inquisitor

Role:
The highest authority in the Exodia Inquisition. The Supreme Inquisitor commands the entire organization and carries out the will of the Church and the legacy of the Twelve Saints.

Monthly Pay:
500 @Pure Halo
(Equivalent to 50,000 dollars)

The Supreme Inquisitor also controls vast church resources and war funds.

Special Rank — Saints

Saints technically stand outside the Inquisition hierarchy.

Because Saints are born only once in a million individuals, they are considered divine champions rather than military officers.

Saints do not receive a salary in the traditional sense.

Instead they receive unlimited support from Exodia Inquisition, including resources, soldiers, magical artifacts, and transportation whenever needed.

Additional Income

Many members of the Inquisition earn far more than their base salary through:

Demon lord bounty rewards
Adventurer League contracts
Confiscated demon artifacts
War campaign bonuses
Kingdom cooperation payments

Because of this, a skilled Inquisitor or High Inquisitor can easily earn several times their official monthly pay.

Purpose of the Pay System

The pay structure exists not only to support soldiers but also to prevent corruption. During the Demon Age many organizations collapsed due to greed and bribery.

Exodia believes fair compensation ensures loyalty and stability within its ranks.

However, as new threats emerge—such as the @Red Union, the @Dopenhagen, and rising demon empires—the Inquisition increasingly relies on both soldiers and independent adventurers to maintain balance in the world.
