West Schrade (Japanese 西シュレイド) and East Schrade (Japanese 東シュレイド) are the remnants of the once great kingdom of Schrade, destroyed in an unnatural event that occurred a thousand years ago. West Schrade is a kingdom, while East Schrade is a republic. The two nations are known to occasionally clash, but it never devolved into war, in part thanks to a neutral ground established around Castle Schrade.
In West Schrade, the climate is warm near the Coast and gets colder the further inland you go. This is because of water currents in the West Wyvern Sea (Japanese 西 竜 洋). East Schrade, meanwhile, is well-known for having long winter seasons.
