The Guild Receptionists, also called Guild Clerks, Guild Gals, Quest Maidens and more, are employees of the Hunter's Guild that give out quests to hunters.
Guild Receptionists manage quests for hunters to embark on and verify that said hunters meet the requirements for the desired quest. It is also their duty to know everything there is to know about monsters and hunting locales, and give this information to hunters when needed. In gathering hubs, they also work as waitresses. Some Guild Receptionists go on hunts themselves.
The majority of Guild Receptionists are human and wyverian women, hence the names Guild Gals and Quest Maidens. Men can also be Guild Receptionists.
Guild Receptionists wear different uniforms depending on their guild and region. Such uniforms include the Maiden's Uniform, Helper Uniform, Scholar's Uniform, Sailor Uniform and Lecturer's Uniform. Some of them are also adapted for hunting.
Handlers have pretty much the same job as Guild Receptionists, but are paired with a specific hunter. This is usually for long-term assignments. Some handlers have a certain authority and can directly authorize quests.
