Underneath The Granite Span there has begun a very large overgrowth of seaweed and algae. It has primarily started to build up on the island side of the bridge however it is in a very quantity to the point where it has made passage under the bridge impossible for ships. All attempts to remove it have been without success, as the plant life just grows back too quickly. Many suspect there is magic or a curse involved.
In the forests southeast of Zizabunar there have been sightings of a pair of Clay Golems. Nobody knows who summoned them or why they are there. However both Clay Golems work together, and attack anyone or anything that gets too close to their location.
In the mountains in the southeastern part of the province there is a tribe of Storm Giants that have taken up residence near a mountain peak. They are hostile towards anyone that attempts to get too close to their village and will attack on sight.
The engineering machinery used to support Akhath Mine is in constant need of maintenance and repair work done. Anyone who has a mind for technology or machinery and can help the Golden Dwarves keep their mining operation running smooth are welcome to join in the effort and will be paid well.
Several of the forges in Khiz-Thahad have been struggling to stay lit and maintain high temperatures. A very uncharacteristic problem for the region that many suspect may be some sort of foul sorcerery or curse at play. The locals would pay well to anyone who can help resolve why some of the forges just go cold late at night and struggle to stay lit.
In the mountains south of Harag-Dun there is rumor of an abandoned silver mine that was once one of the richest in the world. However because of unstable conditions the mine was buried in a cave-in. Everyone seems to know about the mine, but nobody seems to remember where it was because of how much time has passed since it was abandoned.
