In the bay south of Chrenyomir there have been fish that have started gaining glowing bioluminescent moss like coverings on their scales. At first it was an interesting and colorful addition to the bay, until the first one was caught and eaten. As it turns out the bioluminescent covering makes the fish extremely toxic. Locals suggested it is some sort of curse or magic spell at play.
In the vast steppes there have been sightings of a Purple Worm. So far it has not attacked or eaten anything but locals are worried that eventually it is going to make its way close enough to a town or village to wreak havoc.
Rumors suggest that one of the Oligarchs has started stashing specific amounts of coin in various stashes around the province. The locations these staches are hidden, and how much coin is in each is wildly different based on who you hear the rumor form. But everyone is in agreement that it would be nice to get their hands on at least one of the chests.
Someone or something is burning down entire orchards. Many suspect it may be bandits trying to disrupt agriculture in the area, others suspect it may be fire monsters on the loose. Strange to the occurrences is that the fire burn patterns almost always are perfect circles. Which suggests whoever or whatever is doing it is controlling the scorching somehow.
Rumors have started to spread that there is vampire activity in the province. While nobody has been able to locate one for sure, it has many of the smaller towns and villagers pointing the fingers at each other and accusing each other of necromancy. Anyone who could find the vampire’s lair would be doing this region a large service.
