National Collegiate Quirk Association (NCQA) Bowl Games
National Collegiate Quirk Association (NCQA) Bowl Games
Each winter, the United States unites for Bowl Season — the defining finale of the @National Collegiate Quirk Association (NCQA) year. For young heroes, these games represent far more than sport. They are the trials of destiny, where rising legends clash for pride, legacy, and the right to be called the strongest in the nation.
Across twenty bowl games, heroes from every state take the field — but only twelve ascend into the Playoff Tier, the most elite stage of collegiate hero combat, culminating in the sacred National Quirk Brawl Bowl Championship on Christmas Day.
Tier I — The Prestige Bowls (Playoff Tier)
The twelve top-ranked teams in the nation are selected by the Heroic Performance Committee and seeded into the six premier bowl games. These six matchups form the official NCQA Playoff, where heroes compete for advancement toward the national title.
Each of the six bowls is hosted in a major hero city, blending spectacle, symbolism, and tradition.

Playoff Structure and Advancement
The 12 top-ranked teams are seeded based on their overall record, Heroic Integrity Rating (HIR), and Strength of Schedule Index (SSI).
Seeds 1–4 receive an opening-round bye.
Seeds 5–12 compete in the first round, with winners advancing to face the top four in the quarterfinal stage.
The quarterfinal and semifinal rounds are hosted across the six Prestige Bowls, rotated annually to ensure equal exposure and tradition among hero cities.
The final two victors meet in the National Quirk Bowl Championship — the crown jewel of collegiate hero sports, held on Christmas Day.
This tiered system ensures that every matchup carries monumental weight — every takedown, every strategy, every heartbeat determining who ascends to the ultimate stage.
Tier II — The Competitive Bowls (Mid-Tier)
Teams ranked 13th through 25th earn invitations to prestigious mid-tier showcases. These matches provide invaluable experience and exposure to scouts from the National Quirk Fighting League (NQFL) and Hero Guild recruiters.
FedEx River City Bowl – St. Louis, MO
Toyota Quirk Line Classic – Detroit, MI
Red Bull Pacific Wave Bowl – San Diego, CA
Nike Crimson Forge Bowl – Baltimore, MD

Though outside the playoff spotlight, these bowls remain fan favorites — spirited, unpredictable contests that often birth breakout heroes.
Tier III — The Foundation Bowls (Low-Tier)
For 6–6 or 7–5 programs, the Foundation Bowls celebrate community, perseverance, and passion. Smaller in scale but rich in heart, they close the season for programs that represent the grassroots of American heroism.
Walmart Heartland Hero Bowl – Kansas City, KS

Twitch Star Circuit Bowl – Austin, TX
Home Depot Steel Frontier Bowl – Pittsburgh, PA

The National Quirk Bowl Championship
Held every Christmas Day, the National Quirk Bowl Championship crowns the undisputed collegiate champion of @USA.
Unlike the sponsored bowls that precede it, this event remains pure and unsponsored, preserved as a national treasure symbolizing heroism in its truest form.
Two teams enter.
One nation watches.
And one legacy is written forever.
The Spirit of Bowl Season
For students, these games are the culmination of years of discipline, sacrifice, and faith.
For cities, they are symbols of unity and pride.
And for America, Bowl Season is a living reminder that heroism isn’t just born in the battlefield — it’s forged in competition, teamwork, and the relentless chase for greatness.
From the shining skyline of Los Angeles to the snow-swept arenas of Boston, every December writes a new chapter in the story of the modern hero — one Quirk Brawl at a time.
The National Quirk Bowl Championship Trophy
At the pinnacle of the NCQA’s hierarchy stands the @National Quirk Bowl Championship Trophy, the most revered award in collegiate hero history.
Forged by the @American Hero Academies Organization (AHAO) in partnership with the @Heroes League of America, it is treated not as a trophy — but as a national artifact.
Design Description:
A towering 36-inch monument of mirrored titanium and obsidian, shaped like two rising hands cradling a glowing crystal sphere.
Inside the sphere, a pulsing golden light represents the “Hero’s Heart,” said to embody courage, teamwork, and sacrifice — the essence of heroism.
When lifted, the light intensifies, reflecting off the player’s faces in brilliant gold — symbolizing that the power of victory is shared, never claimed.
The base is engraved each year with the name of the champion university, their motto, and the signatures of the team captains and head coach.
Only one copy exists — it is housed year-round in the National Hero Museum in Washington, D.C.
