The National Quirk Fighting League (NQFL)
The National Quirk Fighting League (NQFL)
By 2075, heroism had become not only a calling but a competition — and nowhere is that spirit more alive than in the @National Quirk Fighting League (NQFL) (NQFL). Founded in 2030, the NQFL transformed post-academy hero combat into a global sport, where strategy, spectacle, and raw Quirk power collide before millions of fans.
Known as America’s premier 6-on-6 Quirk Brawl League, the NQFL blends the hero world’s discipline with the energy of professional athletics. Every season, its twenty-six city franchises clash for supremacy, defending their home arenas and city pride in the pursuit of the greatest prize in modern sport — the @Plus Ultra Cup.
League Format
Regular Season: 17 games (August–December)
Playoffs: 16-team elimination bracket (January)
Finale: The Super Hero Bowl, held the first Sunday of February, broadcast worldwide and celebrated as the most-watched Quirk sporting event in existence.
Matches are fought in adaptive Quirk Arenas, equipped with shifting holographic terrain that can mimic mountains, oceans, or cityscapes — ensuring no two battles are ever the same. Each team fields 6 active players and 6 reserves, emphasizing synergy and tactical depth over raw strength.

Legacy and Influence
The NQFL stands as the beating heart of America’s Quirk culture — a crossroads of sports, heroism, and identity. Its athletes are not just competitors but city champions, many doubling as licensed heroes who inspire the next generation of YJSS students.
In a nation where fame and valor walk hand in hand, the NQFL is more than a league — it’s the modern mythology of 2075, where every match writes a new legend under the lights.
