The World was created by the Dragon of Time named Clepsydra (Water clock), the Dragon of Space Astra, the Dragon of Light who is Shinju (Pearl) and the Dragon of Darkness Absinthe.
Astra gave form to all life
Clepsydra gave emotions to life
Shinju gave intelligence to life
Absinthe gave morality to life
Narran was settled by dragons: a Nature dragon by the name of Viridian Silvanus, a Sun dragon Kaldor Thalys, a Frost Dragon Sioc Cryonix and a Water dragon who called herself Serena Yume (Dream). Each one settled in a different region and made it their home, still existing to the current day.
The strongest male Viridian stays in Darkwood Forest, Kaldor lives in a cave in Alusia and keeps to herself, Serena herself has taken to living in the sea near Dialla's southern coast and Sioc disappeared, rumors only stating he now haunts the battleground where Harrod's last queen died.
Each dragon had children who spread throughout the continent and seeded dragon magic wherever they settled. Narran went from a bleak and barren landmass to a very fertile and comforting place to live.
Everyone who was born on Narran was blessed with some form of dragon blessing from nature, sun, frost or water.
