The Collapse Wars remain the darkest chapter in recorded history. What began as corporate competition over newly discovered Precursor relics rapidly escalated into a system-wide conflict involving planetary governments, private military corporations, independent colonies, Nomad fleets, and rival scientific organizations. Hyperlane infrastructure became strategic targets, isolating entire systems overnight and leaving billions stranded beyond communication. The Helix Directive accelerated the Designation Program, creating genetically perfected supersoldiers to combat increasingly impossible threats. Warframes transitioned from experimental technology into battlefield legends capable of altering the course of entire campaigns. Void anomalies multiplied across human space, destabilizing reality around major battlefronts and giving birth to regions now known as Null Growth Sectors. Xenomorph outbreaks consumed isolated colonies while rogue artificial intelligences seized abandoned infrastructure. Entire civilizations disappeared from the galactic map within months. When the final ceasefires were signed, thousands of colonies had fallen, countless worlds had become uninhabitable, and humanity realized its greatest enemy had never been itself alone.
