Description
The Helix Directive is the foremost authority on advanced biotechnology, Precursor research, Warframe development, and existential threat containment. Founded during the Collapse Wars, its original purpose was to prevent dangerous technologies from falling into hostile hands. Over time, it evolved into one of the most influential organizations in explored space, maintaining research facilities, orbital shipyards, quarantine zones, and rapid response fleets across hundreds of systems.
Although technically independent of any single government, the Helix Directive operates under special authority granted by the Galactic Accord. This allows its personnel to establish emergency quarantines, investigate anomalous activity, recover Precursor artifacts, and contain biological threats including Xenomorph outbreaks and uncontrolled Bio-Construct mutations.
