ASHFALL
A volcanic death world orbiting a collapsing red giant. Entire mountain ranges are composed of ancient starship wreckage fused into black glass. Mining corporations seek the world's impossible alloys, but every expedition reports hearing radio transmissions from ships that crashed centuries ago.
THE HALLOWED ORBIT
An abandoned orbital ring encircling a lifeless planet with no recorded civilization. Millions of lights still illuminate its endless corridors despite no detectable power source. Long-range scans reveal movement inside, yet no life signs have ever been confirmed.
THE VEIL OF THORNS
A dense stellar nebula where navigation systems fail without warning. Hundreds of ships have disappeared within its crimson clouds. Survivors claim enormous silhouettes move between the stars, silently observing anything that enters.
KHEPRI
A thriving desert colony famous for producing the finest spacecraft ever constructed. Beneath its endless dunes lie Precursor vaults older than human civilization. Local legends warn that disturbing certain ruins awakens guardians that never truly sleep.
FROSTHAVEN
A frozen ocean world illuminated by brilliant auroras. Beneath kilometers of ice rests an ancient city whose towers extend into darkness below the surface. No one knows who built it—or why every expedition eventually loses communication.
THE BLEEDING MOON
Orbiting an otherwise ordinary gas giant, this crimson moon occasionally emits rivers of glowing red light visible from orbit. Scientific instruments cannot explain the phenomenon. Voidwalkers consider it sacred ground.
BLACK REACH
An uncharted region beyond the outer colonies where stars appear unnaturally dim. Entire fleets have entered Black Reach seeking new Hyperlanes. Very few ever return. Those that do often refuse to describe what they encountered.
