The Aldecaldos
By 2097, @The Aldecaldos have transformed from wandering nomads into a powerful, semi-nation of their own — the largest independent convoy network across the New United States. Under @Panam Palmer, now known as Matriarch Panam, the clan evolved into a hybrid of freedom fighters, traders, and smugglers, bridging the gap between Earth’s fractured cities and the wild, ungoverned frontiers.
Their convoys span from the scorched highways of Texas to the storm-beaten ruins of Nevada, moving under the call sign Iron Sky. No longer just desert runners, the Aldecaldos control drone fleets, mobile refineries, and AI-linked nomad hubs, running oxygen, weapons, and tech between factions that can’t move openly. They’ve become both salvation and menace — depending on who’s paying.
Panam herself remains fiercely loyal to her people but hardened by decades of loss. Her partnership — and rumored love — with V, the legend of @Night City, ended in myth. After 2077, V vanished, leaving behind only fragmented reports: sightings near the Lunar cargo lifts, encrypted signals tagged with their old call sign, and whispers that their consciousness was saved — or stolen — by The Soul Killers.
Some Aldecaldos believe V lives inside an orbital mainframe, watching over them from the void. Others think V died free, buried somewhere in the desert Panam now protects like sacred ground. Either way, their ghost fuels the clan’s creed — “No masters. No corps. No chains.”
@Militech Security Guard's call them smugglers. The @Corpo call them terrorists. The wasteland calls them legends.
To the Aldecaldos, they are simply family.
