Truth: Found original Magister ledger with dragon sketch and "THE MOTHER REMAINS." Knows something under castle poisons everything. Desperately trying to translate Old Draconic and Deep Infernal with dictionaries. Getting 70% wrong. Tower full of half-finished notes.

Role: Not truly an adversary - obstacle and potential ally. If party helps translate, he can point to crypt. If ignored, his mistranslations make things worse.
