Princess Ignis
Medium Humanoid (Dragonborn), Lawful Good
“I did not inherit power to wear it. I inherited it to use it.” — Princess Ignis
The Crimson Scholar. Princess Ignis, daughter of King Vorlag and Queen Veridian, was raised in the opulent halls of the Obsidian Kingdom. Her deep crimson scales and draconic heritage set her apart from youth, a living mark of ancient dragon ancestry.
Intelligent, curious, and driven by a thirst for knowledge, particularly in the arcane arts, she found solace within the dusty tomes of the royal wizards' tower. She carries herself with royal dignity, yet possesses a deep-seated passion for magic that often overrides her formal demeanor. She respects her heritage, but yearns to prove herself through her own magical prowess rather than solely by her lineage.
Sanctuary. Ignis is in secret contact with Prince Caspian Vane and is a member of the Gilded Rebellion. Together they smuggle the oppressed out of Aurum City through the Aurum sewers — the only place the King's gold does not reach.
Those who survive the sewers are fully welcome in the Obsidian Kingdom. She offers them true sanctuary and citizenship, without condition or hidden debt.
Present Day. To the court, she is a princess studying. To the Rebellion, she is the open door at the end of the dark.
