THE FACTION WAR - SCALEBOUND VS WYRMSBANE
Core Conflict: Both want the vault, both want the eggs, for opposite reasons.
Wyrmsbane wants to destroy. Seal world from dragons forever. No magic, no Rot, no risk. Safety through annihilation.
Scalebound wants to wield. Open world to dragons violently. Use dragons as power source. Freedom through apotheosis.
For the GM: If Wyrmsbane is near eggs, they will try to smash them. If Scalebound is near eggs, they will try to force-hatch them even if it kills babies. If both present, they fight each other first, then target party if party protects eggs. Furthermore, people do not openly talk about this conflict. It is a well kept secret undercurrent. Knowledge of @The Wyrmsbane Covenant and @The Scalebound is to be kept a secret from the player until they discover it on their own.
