D. Clan

The D. Clan are a people whose name lingers like a scar across history, whispered in fear and curiosity but never spoken openly by those in power. They are not one race or one tribe, but a lineage woven from many clans across the seas—human, fish-man, mink, giant, and others—all bound together by an ancient oath long before the World Government’s rise. Their origins are buried in secrecy, erased deliberately by the Celestial Dragons and the scholars they control, for the mere existence of the D. Clan is a threat to the established order.

What makes them so dangerous is not simply blood, but destiny. Those who bear the middle initial “D.” seem drawn into the tides of history, rising as kings, pirates, revolutionaries, and wanderers whose lives inevitably clash with the pillars of the world. Some of them even serve the World Government itself, never fully understanding the weight of their name. Admirals, agents, and even loyal citizens among the Government unknowingly carry the legacy of the D., their service turning into a cruel irony: servants of the very regime their ancestors once opposed.

To the Celestial Dragons and Imu, the D. Clan are the ancient enemies—the ones who once stood against their ascension during the Void Century. The Twenty Families crushed them, scattering their bloodline and branding them as forgotten relics. But erasure was never complete. The D. resurface, generation after generation, as if fate itself cannot silence them. They die on battlefields, on gallows, and on execution stands, yet so many of them meet death with a smile. This smile is their unyielding defiance, a mystery that terrifies their oppressors. To die laughing is to deny fear, to reject the gods who demand submission, and to embrace a destiny larger than chains.

Legends suggest that the D. Clan carry a “Will” passed through blood and spirit—a force that resonates with the storms of the world. Some say their laughter at death is a sign they do not fear returning to the sea, others claim it is the echo of their ancestors’ vow to topple tyrants. Whether fate or curse, the mark of D. endures, and as long as their name survives, the Celestial Dragons can never truly rest secure in their power.
