The Straw Hat Pirates are a young but rapidly rising crew, led by Monkey D. Luffy, a boy who seeks nothing less than the title of Pirate King. What sets them apart is not only their courage, but the strength of their bonds — a crew forged from misfits, dreamers, and warriors, bound by freedom and trust.
Though still small, they have already toppled tyrants in East Blue and earned the world’s attention. To the World Government, they are dangerous upstarts. To those oppressed by crowns and crews, they are a spark of hope.
Their current leader is Monkey D. Luffy, Captain of the Going Merry.
The Straw Hats live by ideals that defy empires:
