As recorded by the Radiant Church
When the world stood upon the brink of annihilation and the shadows of demonkind covered the land, the gods did not abandon humanity. From among mortals, They raised three champions, each bearing a sacred virtue, each forming a single divine will.
Together, they became known as The Dawn Triumvirate.
Bearer of the Sacred Shield
When demonfire swept across the plains and cities fell like dry leaves, Aurelion stood where others fled. The gods placed into his hands a shield said to be forged from divine light and unbreakable will.
Aurelion did not seek glory. He planted his feet and refused to yield.
Where he stood, demons broke like waves upon stone. His shield turned hellfire aside, and his presence gave courage to the weak. Legends claim that no blow ever struck a soul behind him, and that even demon kings found their strength waning when faced with his unyielding defense.
The Church teaches that Aurelion embodies Faith—the certainty that evil can be held back, no matter its strength.
Guardian of the Line
If Aurelion was the wall, then Valerius was the spear that defended it.
Swift and tireless, Valerius walked the length of the battle line, striking down those who sought to slip past the shield. His spear, blessed by the gods, pierced demon flesh and sealed rifts where horrors spilled forth.
Songs tell that Valerius never fought alone—he fought for others. He guarded flanks, rescued the wounded, and died a hundred times in legend so others might live.
The Church proclaims that Valerius represents Duty—the eternal vigilance required to keep darkness from finding its way through even the smallest crack.
Wielder of the Holy Sword
When defense was no longer enough, Seraphine raised the holy sword and advanced.
Her blade shone with divine judgment, cutting through demon hosts and shattering dark thrones. Where she struck, shadows burned away, and hope followed in her wake. The legends say she ended the war by striking down the greatest of demon kings, her sword held high so all could see the gods’ will made manifest.
Seraphine is venerated as the Hand of Salvation, the one who carried the war to its end so peace could be claimed.
The Church teaches that Seraphine is Victory—the righteous force that must rise when evil refuses to be contained.
