The Fighter Class is the beating heart of gallant devotion—the sole practical discipline open to gallants from their earliest refinement. In our Directrice-Led society, Ladies of Ascension wield inventive genius through brass gloves, shaping the future with science and grace. Gallants, in perfect complementary harmony, embrace the Fighter Class to become the shields of that future: protectors who stand between their Guiding Ladies and any whisper of disharmony.
From the moment a Refined Prospect steps forth from the Clockwork Forge, the Fighter path is his destiny. No advanced sciences or atelier studies await him—those bloom under Ladies’ direction alone. Instead, gallants train in resilience, close-range valor, and chivalric flair, ensuring every strike serves romance and balance rather than destruction. A Fighter’s victories—whether repelling sky-pirates or triumphing in courtship bouts—earn prolonged human-form privileges, salon adoration, and the deepest affection of his Aether Pair.
All combat remains non-lethal: foes are stunned, disarmed, or persuaded into harmonious yield, turning every clash into a spectacle of devotion rather than discord.
Every gallant begins here, building a foundation that all subclasses enhance.
Level 1: Chivalric Foundation Ring-sync awakens latent resilience (+1 harmony health). Human Form: Wields the Brass Valiant Blade – elegant close-range sword with gear-edged precision. Mammal Form: Enhanced pedigree instincts for scouting and evasion.
Level 2: Devoted Reflexes Once per engagement, Loyal Surge grants a burst of speed. Human: Protective intercept dash. Mammal: Agile distraction roll.
Harmonious Call Whistle Signature brass pendant received upon refinement completion. Blowing it releases a melodic steam hiss (tuned to animal pedigree) and summons subclass gear with dramatic flight or assembly. Usable once per bout; recharges with rest.
Level 5: Loyal Combo Chain two close-range attacks (blade thrust + pommel strike, or claw swipe + tackle). Shared resilience absorbs retaliation.
General Progression Stats emphasize close-range dominance: resilience (health), agility (evasion/instincts), loyalty (bond bonuses). +1 primary stat per level. Higher tiers (7, 11, 15, 18) unlock subclass-specific escalations.
At Level 3, after proving loyalty in initial bouts and earning a Guiding Lady’s favor, a Courting Gallant selects one permanent subclass. The choice is registered with municipal harmony arbiters and celebrated in a small ceremony—often with the Lady engraving her crest upon the new gear.
Available subclasses:
Mecha Knight – Towering L’Aigle Chevalier pilots; thunderous piston fists and lance sweeps.
Gunslinger – Precise steam-revolver duelists; quick-draw volleys from mid-range.
Blade Warden – Intimate shield-and-sword defenders; parry masters of the salon guard.
Scout Vanguard – Stealthy infiltrators; shadow leaps and ambush tactics.
Multiclassing is rare and requires exceptional Maison approval—true mastery lies in perfecting one path of devotion.
A Fighter gallant lives for three truths:

Serve his Guiding Lady with every strike, earning the right to walk beside her in human form.
