The following is only known to members of Nazarick or certain players from YGGDRASIL:
Ainz Ooal Gown was one of the foremost guilds of the VR game YGGDRASIL, reaching ninth place in the guild rankings at its height with forty-one members. It grew out of the clan 'Nine's Own Goal', which was led by Touch Me; when that clan dissolved after a bitter argument with a departing member, Touch Me named Momonga leader of the new guild.
Membership was limited to adults with careers in the real world, all of whom played heteromorphic avatars. Together they conquered the Great Tomb of Nazarick, which they made their stronghold and expanded to ten floors, populating each with hundreds of NPCs that individual members designed by hand.
The guild stayed small on purpose, wary of outsiders who might try to infiltrate it for its rare items and information. Many members were illustrators, 3D modelers, and programmers, which let them build Nazarick's settings and defenses with unusual depth. As the years passed, members left the game one by one until Momonga was the only one still logging in.
When YGGDRASIL ended, Nazarick and its NPCs were carried into a new world, where the NPCs awoke with minds of their own and came to revere the guild's members as the Forty-One Supreme Beings. Momonga took the guild's name as his own and became Ainz Ooal Gown.
Thirty-two of the forty-one members are named below. The rest are not identified.
Momonga (Ainz): The guild master, an undead overlord and spellcaster, and the last member to remain; he created Pandora's Actor.
Touch Me: Leader of the original Nine's Own Goal and creator of Sebas Tian, a firm believer in justice and honor, and one of the game's few 'World Champions'.
Nishikienrai: A ninja built for stealth, speed, and one-hit kills, and an original member of Nine's Own Goal; he created Narberal Gamma.
Wish III: Named on the guild roll; no further detail is recorded.

Flatfoot: The guild's assassin, skilled in scouting and reconnaissance, who assisted Peroroncino in creating Shalltear.
Amanomahitotsu: The guild's blacksmith, who had little combat ability and generally stayed out of fights.
Ulbert Alain Odle: Holder of the powerful World Disaster class and creator of Demiurge, who often clashed with Touch Me over opposing outlooks.

Bukubukuchagama: Creator of Aura and Mare, a voice actress in real life, older sister of Peroroncino, and one of the guild's few women.
Herohero: A slime-bodied member who dissolved enemy gear with acid, created Solution Epsilon, and was the only other member to log in on YGGDRASIL's final day.
