Albedo (created by Tabula Smaragdina): A succubus, Overseer of the Floor Guardians, and manager of the Defense System. Ainz altered her settings shortly before the shutdown so that she is in love with him. She wields the bardiche 3F and wears the armor Hermes Trismegistus, and she holds the World Item Ginnungagap.
Shalltear Bloodfallen (Peroroncino): A vampire who guards floors 1–3, excelling in melee and magic. She is a proud, lewd character in rivalry with Albedo for Ainz's affection.
Gargantua (game bonus): A stone golem of the fourth floor with enormous stats but no will of its own.
Cocytus (Warrior Takemikazuchi): A four-armed insectoid warrior of the fifth floor who commands Nazarick's perimeter security. He is noble and honor-bound and uses cryokinesis.
Aura Bella Fiora (Bukubukuchagama): A dark elf and beast tamer of the sixth floor who fights with whip and bow. She is energetic and extroverted and cross-dresses as a boy.
Mare Bello Fiore (Bukubukuchagama): Aura's twin, a druid with earth-shaping magic. He is shy and quiet and cross-dresses as a girl.
Demiurge (Ulbert Alain Odle): A demon in a business suit and glasses who guards the seventh floor. He is among the most intelligent NPCs, a strategist and schemer who also operates in the New World as Jaldabaoth.
Victim: The eighth-floor guardian, which speaks Enochian and has self-destruction as its only skill. It is humble and sees its purpose as serving the Supreme Beings.
Pandora's Actor (Momonga): Guardian of the Treasury, theatrical and exaggerated by design, able to take the form and abilities of the guild's members.
Nigredo (Tabula Smaragdina): Guardian of the Frozen Prison and an information gatherer; she is Albedo's older sister.
Rubedo (Tabula Smaragdina): Nazarick's hidden super-boss and strongest NPC; Albedo's younger sister.
Aureole Omega: The secret seventh Pleiades member and Guardian of the Cherry Blossom Sanctuary, who keeps the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown and oversees the teleportation gates.
Kyouhukou: A large, polite cockroach lord in a crown and cloak, Guardian of the Black Capsule.
Gashokukochuuou: A parasitic creature, Guardian of the Large Hole.
Neuronist Painkill: Investigator and torturer who runs the Room of Truth.
Chacmool (Temperance): Musical instructor who treats humans as food or toys and commands several Greater Doppelgängers.
Titus Annaeus Secundus: Resident of the Ashurbanipal library on the tenth floor.
Kyouhukou, Gashokukochuuou, Neuronist Painkill, and Chacmool belong to the unofficial group known as the Five Worst, each holding a title such as "Worst Residence" or "Worst Occupation."
A battle-maid unit that serves as Nazarick's last defense before the final floor, regarded by other NPCs almost like an idol group.
Sebas Tian (Touch Me): The head butler and overseer of the Pleiades, a dignified elder skilled in unarmed combat who shares his creator's strong sense of justice.
Yuri Alpha (Yamaiko): A dullahan, second-in-command, programmed to act as a teacher.
Lupusregina Beta (Beast King Mekongawa): A werewolf healer, friendly in public and sadistic in private.
Narberal Gamma (Nishikienrai): A doppelgänger lightning caster who often travels with Ainz as "Nabe."
CZ2128 Delta (Garnet): A silent, emotionless automaton with guns and war knives; she is the only one who knows how to unlock Nazarick's doors.
Solution Epsilon (Herohero): A slime in human form who works as an assassin.
Entoma Vasilissa Zeta (Genjiro): An insectoid who disguises herself with a mask and can summon other insectoids.
Most are low-level and exist as part of Nazarick's scenery and daily life.
Pestonya Shortcake Wanko (Ankoro Mocchi Mochi): Head maid with the head of a Shetland sheepdog, skilled in healing and resurrection.
Eclair Ecleir Eicler (Ankoro Mocchi Mochi): A penguin assistant butler whose superiority complex was written in as a joke.
Clavu (Blue Planet): A mushroom barkeep who tends the ninth-floor bar and gives sympathetic counsel.
Shihoutu Tokitu: An orc head chef who feeds Nazarick's denizens.
Nazarick's sous-chef: Manages the bar facilities alongside the other kitchen staff.
The Jack the Ripper summon: Operates the beauty parlor.
General maids: Homunculus maids, designed by Whitebrim, Coup De Grâce, and Herohero, who handle cleaning, service, and upkeep. They are mostly level 1 with no special abilities, and they idolize CZ2128 Delta.
Undead guards: Nazarick Old Guarders and their Elder and Master variants spawn automatically from the defense system and form the foundation of Nazarick's military.
Golems: Many are scattered through the tomb, including the Amphitheater audience, the 67 of the Lemegeton, and the 37 Avatara of the Mausoleum.
Floor-specific servants: Frost Virgins (level 82) in Cocytus's domain, Seven Evil Lords (around level 80) and Guren on the seventh floor, dragonkin cleaners in the Amphitheater, and dryads, treants, and others in the Green Hole.
Summoned and mercenary vassals: Includes Hanzo (level 80), Lip Bug, and Greater Doppelgängers. These can be summoned with YGGDRASIL gold or real money and are often brought along by the Floor Guardians.
Denizens revere the Supreme Beings, and Ainz is the one who remained when the others left.
Most view humans as food, playthings, or lesser beings; a few NPCs hold neutral or kinder views, which is a useful source of friction.
Creator relationships carry over into NPC relationships: Demiurge and Sebas clash as Ulbert and Touch Me did, and Aura and Mare mirror their creator's sibling dynamic.
Many NPCs believe Ainz's plans are far larger than he intends. Keep this gap between his private thinking and their interpretation of him.
