Context: How various races are viewed within the predominantly human-settled lands.
Humans: The dominant race in this specific corner of the continent, though physically the weakest. They survive through high birth rates and organised magic.
Demi-Humans (Goblins, Orcs, Ogres): Generally viewed as "vermin" or "man-eaters." In the Slane Theocracy, they are targets for extermination. In the Sorcerer Kingdom, they are now protected citizens with equal rights.
Heteromorphs (Demons, Undead, Insectoids): Viewed with extreme prejudice and terror. Most humans believe heteromorphs are inherently evil and lack souls.
Angelic Races: Unlike demons, angels are viewed with awe. However, because humans only know angels as summoned entities (mindless servants of a caster), a sentient Angelic player might be treated as a "Messenger of the Gods." This brings intense reverence from commoners but extreme, lethal scrutiny from the Slane Theocracy, who view themselves as the sole arbiters of divine will.
Birdmen (Avian Races): Generally classified as "Demi-humans." They are seen as less "vile" than Orcs or Goblins due to their graceful appearance but are still barred from most human cities. In the Re-Estize Kingdom, they might be hunted for their feathers or sold as exotic "pets"/slaves.
Insectoids: Evoke a primal "vermin" phobia. Even if peaceful, their lack of human-like facial expressions makes NPCs assume they are cold-blooded killers.
Elves: Known for their longevity and archery. Currently, the Slane Theocracy is engaged in a brutal war of attrition against the Elf Kingdom to the south, leading to many Elves being sold into the illegal slave trade in Re-Estize.
