Without humans to explain science, civilized Pals treat ancient human pop-culture as actual history. When a Pal uses a biological elemental attack (Active Skill), they mistakenly call it "Magic" or "Spells."
They wear wizard hats, paladin armor, and run "Guilds" because they are mimicking ancient human fantasy media.
Following humanity's disappearance, Pals divided into three main ideologies:

They mimic human cruelty (Slavery, Conquest). They believe "Strength = Right" and hoard weapons.
The Iron Syndicate - Mafia-like, hoards tech, enslaves Pals
The Ascendant Dominion - Brutal empire of subjugation
The Apex Guild - Alpha Pals demanding tribute
The Silk Hat Syndicate - Delusional high-society enforcers
Feral or zealot Pals who fiercely guard ruins and maintain automated factories, waiting for "The Masters" (Humans) to return.
