How to Use Skill Fruits

  • Type: Consumable (Wondrous Item).

  • Mechanic: A Pal eats the fruit to learn the move instantly.

  • Limit: A Pal can only know 3 Active Skills. If they have 3, they must forget one to learn a new one.


Tier 1: The Basics (Common Drops)

Found in low-level chests or bought for 500g.

🍎 Skill Fruit: Ignis Blast

  • Element: Fire

  • Type: Ranged Spell Attack (Cantrip)

  • Effect: The Pal hurls a ball of fire. Range 60ft.

  • Damage: 1d10 Fire Damage.

  • Source: Ignis Blast: Hurls a ball of fire straight at an enemy. CT 2, Power 30.

🍏 Skill Fruit: Wind Cutter

  • Element: Grass

  • Type: Ranged Spell Attack (Cantrip)

  • Effect: The Pal fires a high-speed blade of wind. Range 60ft.

  • Damage: 1d10 Slashing Damage.

  • Source: Wind Cutter: Fires a high speed blade of wind... CT 2, Power 30.

🔵 Skill Fruit: Hydro Jet

  • Element: Water

  • Type: Ranged Spell Attack (Cantrip)

  • Effect: The Pal spits a high-pressure ball of water. Range 60ft.

  • Damage: 1d8 Cold Damage and the target is pushed 5ft back.

  • Source: Hydro Jet: Hurls a high speed ball of water... CT 2, Power 30.


Tier 2: The Tactical Moves (Uncommon Drops)

Found in Level 15+ Dungeons or bought for 1500g.

🍎 Skill Fruit: Spirit Fire

  • Element: Fire

  • Type: Multi-Attack (Recharge 4-6)

  • Effect: The Pal launches three balls of malice. Make three Ranged Spell Attacks.

  • Damage: 1d6 Fire Damage per hit.

  • Source: Spirit Fire: Fires three balls of malice that relentlessly pursue an enemy. CT 16, Power 75.

🍏 Skill Fruit: Seed Machine Gun

  • Element: Grass

  • Type: Cone Area of Effect (Recharge 5-6)

  • Effect: The Pal fires a volley of hard seeds in a 15ft Cone. Creatures must make a Dexterity Save.

  • Damage: 3d6 Bludgeoning Damage.

  • Source: Seed Machine Gun: Fires a volley of hard seeds at enemies in front of it. CT 9, Power 50.

🔵 Skill Fruit: Acid Rain

  • Element: Water

  • Type: Area of Effect (Recharge 5-6)

  • Effect: Acidic clouds pour down in a 20ft Radius. Creatures take damage at the start of their turn for 3 turns.

  • Damage: 2d4 Acid Damage per turn.

  • Source: Acid Rain: Creates acidic clouds that pour down acid rain on enemies. CT 18, Power 80.


Tier 3: The Heavy Hitters (Rare Drops)

Found in Boss Chests only.

🍎 Skill Fruit: Fire Ball

  • Element: Fire

  • Type: Explosion (1/Long Rest)

  • Effect: A massive ball explodes at a point within 100ft. All creatures in a 20ft Radius make a Dex Save.

  • Damage: 8d6 Fire Damage (Ignites flammable objects).

  • Source: Fire Ball: Creates a giant ball of flame... explodes over a wide area. CT 55, Power 150.

🍏 Skill Fruit: Solar Blast

  • Element: Grass

  • Type: Beam (1/Long Rest)

  • Effect: The Pal charges energy for one turn, then fires a 100ft long, 5ft wide Line. Dex Save.

  • Damage: 10d8 Radiant Damage.

  • Source: Solar Blast: Charges solar energy before blasting enemies with a powerful beam. CT 55, Power 150.

🔵 Skill Fruit: Hydro Laser

  • Element: Water

  • Type: Beam (1/Long Rest)

  • Effect: Shoots pressurized water at extreme velocity. 60ft Line. Creatures must make a Strength Save or be knocked Prone and pushed 20ft away.

  • Damage: 8d8 Cold Damage.

  • Source: Hydro Laser: Shoots pressurized water at extreme velocities... sweeping over a wide area. CT 55, Power 150.

  • Tier 4: The Calamity Fruits (Legendary)

    Mechanic: These moves are so powerful they require a "Recharge" turn (the Pal cannot move on the turn after using them).

    🐲 Skill Fruit: Dragon Meteor

    • Element: Dragon

    • Type: Artillery Barrage (1/Long Rest)

    • Effect: Calls down numerous small meteorites. Choose 3 points within 120ft. Each point explodes in a 10ft Radius.

    • Damage: 6d6 Bludgeoning + 6d6 Fire Damage per meteor. (Dex Save for half).

    • Source: Dragon Meteor: Calls down numerous small meteorites and launches them at an enemy. CT 55, Power 150.

    🌑 Skill Fruit: Dark Laser

    • Element: Dark

    • Type: Beam (1/Long Rest)

    • Effect: The Pal charges dark energy for 1 turn, then fires a 100ft Line, 10ft wide. All creatures in the line must make a Constitution Save.

    • Damage: 10d8 Necrotic Damage.

    • Status: If a creature fails the save by 5 or more, they are Frightened for 1 minute.

    • Source: Dark Laser: Charges dark energy before blasting enemies with a powerful beam. CT 55, Power 150.

    ❄️ Skill Fruit: Blizzard Spike

    • Element: Ice

    • Type: Single Target Nuke (Recharge 6)

    • Effect: Creates a giant lump of ice and hurls it. Range 60ft. Make a Ranged Spell Attack.

    • Damage: 8d8 Cold Damage.

    • Status: On a hit, the target and everyone within 10ft of them must make a Strength Save or be Restrained (Frozen in ice).

    • Source: Blizzard Spike: Creates a giant lump of ice... deals damage to those in the surrounding area upon impact. CT 45, Power 130.

    ⚡ Skill Fruit: Lightning Bolt

    • Element: Electric

    • Type: Snipe (Recharge 6)

    • Effect: Charges electric energy before blasting enemies. Range 120ft. Target must make a Dexterity Save.

    • Damage: 10d6 Lightning Damage.

    • Status: This attack has Advantage if the target is wearing metal armor.

    • Source: Lightning Bolt: Charges electric energy before blasting enemies with a powerful shock. CT 55, Power 150.


    Tier 5: The "Forbidden" Arts (Exclusive Skills)

    These are signature moves. In the video game, only specific Pals learn them, but in D&D, you can let players find "Ancient Tablets" to teach them to Kovo or Sarah.

    ✨ Ancient Tablet: Divine Disaster

    • Original Owner: Shadowbeak

    • Element: Dark / Light

    • Effect: The Pal charges forward 30ft without provoking attacks. It releases orbs of light that automatically hit enemies within 10ft.

    • Damage: 4d6 Radiant + 4d6 Necrotic Damage (No save, auto-hit).

    • Source: Divine Disaster: Charges forward while generating orbs of light that automatically capture enemies. CT 45, Power 160.

    🔥 Ancient Tablet: Hellfire Claw

    • Original Owner: Incineram

    • Element: Fire / Dark

    • Effect: Make two Melee Spell Attacks.

    • Damage: 2d8 Slashing + 2d8 Fire Damage.

    • Bonus: If the target is Prone, this attack deals critical damage.

    • Source: Hellfire Claw: Draws near enemies using its left claw to slash them into the air before cutting them down. CT 10, Power 70.

    🌍 Ancient Tablet: Ground Smash

    • Original Owner: Anubis

    • Element: Ground

    • Effect: The Pal leaps 30ft into the air and crashes down. All creatures in a 20ft Radius make a Strength Save.

    • Damage: 6d10 Force Damage and are knocked Prone.

    • Source: Ground Smash: Leaps high into the air before diving to the ground... deals damage over a wide area. CT 35, Power 140.

    • Tier 1: The "Suicide" Moves (High Risk, High Reward)

      Mechanic: These moves deal massive damage, but the user takes damage or is knocked out.

      💣 Skill Fruit: Implode

      • Original Owner: Tocotoco / Beeogarde

      • Type: Self-Destruct (1/Day)

      • Effect: The Pal glows bright red and detonates. All creatures within a 20ft Radius must make a Dexterity Save.

      • Damage: 6d6 Fire + 6d6 Force Damage.

      • Cost: The Pal immediately drops to 0 Hit Points (Death Saves required).

      • Source: Implode: Risks its life to cause a violent explosion. Becomes incapacitated afterwards. Power 180.

      • Source: Bee Quiet: Risks its life to cause a violent explosion, but receives the honor of falling in battle. Power 250.

      ✨ Skill Fruit: Megaton Implode

      • Original Owner: Lucky Pals

      • Type: The Ultimate Self-Destruct

      • Effect: Same as Implode, but the radius is 60ft.

      • Damage: 20d6 Force Damage.

      • Cost: The Pal dies instantly (Perma-death unless revived by a spell).

      • Source: Megaton Implode: Risks life to cause a massive explosion. Those who perish for their duty become glistening stars... Power 500.


      Tier 2: The "Goofy" Physics Moves

      Mechanic: These moves involve body slams, rolling, or weird movement.

      🐑 Skill Fruit: Roly Poly

      • Original Owner: Lamball

      • Type: Charge (Recharge 4-6)

      • Effect: The Pal curls into a ball and moves 30ft in a straight line. It can move through enemy spaces.

      • Damage: 2d6 Bludgeoning to everyone it runs over.

      • Debuff: The Pal is Stunned (Dizzy) until the end of its next turn.

      • Source: Roly Poly: Curls into a ball, rolling after any enemies... Becomes dizzy and unable to move after the attack ends. Power 35.

      😼 Skill Fruit: Cat Press

      • Original Owner: Grintale

      • Type: Body Slam (Recharge 5-6)

      • Effect: The Pal leaps into the air and flattens a target. Target must make a Strength Save.

      • Damage: 3d8 Bludgeoning.

      • Status: On a fail, the target is Prone and Restrained (pinned under the fat cat).

      • Source: Cat Press: Grins menacingly before leaping into the air and smashing foes with its body. Power 60.

      🐔 Skill Fruit: Chicken Rush

      • Original Owner: Chikipi

      • Type: Reckless Attack (At-Will)

      • Effect: The Pal flies into a rage. It attacks with Advantage (roll twice and take the highest).

      • Damage: 1d4 Piercing.

      • Debuff: Attacks against the Pal have Advantage until its next turn.

      • Source: Chicken Rush: Flies at enemies in its sight, attacking them with its sharp beak. Power 30.


      Tier 3: The "Charm" Attacks

      Mechanic: These attacks use cuteness to stop the enemy from fighting.

      🎀 Skill Fruit: Fluffy Tackle

      • Original Owner: Melpaca

      • Type: Enchantment Charge

      • Effect: The Pal charges a target. The target must make a Wisdom Save.

      • Damage: 1d8 Bludgeoning.

      • Status: On a fail, the target is Charmed by the "sublime adorableness" and cannot attack the Pal on their next turn.

      • Source: Fluffy Tackle: Charges forward while clad in an aura of sublime adorableness. Power 40.

      🦌 Skill Fruit: Antler Uppercut

      • Original Owner: Eikthyrdeer

      • Type: Launch

      • Effect: Melee Weapon Attack.

      • Damage: 2d8 Bludgeoning.

      • Status: If the target is Medium or smaller, they are launched 10ft into the air and take 1d6 Fall Damage upon landing Prone.

      • Source: Antler Uppercut: Charges at foes and uses antlers to launch them into the air. Power 50.
