Raw materials are the backbone of the Banana Kingdom’s economy and crafting systems. They’re used in the creation of weapons, armor, boats, consumables, and more. While Players can only purchase or assist in the gathering of specific materials (based on their knowledge and class limitations), Civilians specialize in locating, obtaining, and refining these resources into powerful equipment or useful goods.
Each Raw Material has Grade and Rank:
Grade (I to VII for normal, VIII+ for Unique):
Determines quality and trait potential — higher Grades have better or more traits.
Rank:
Determines volume/amount — the higher the Rank, the more of the material you have access to.
Each material comes with potential traits, which determine how it can be used in crafting or combat. Some traits enhance physical defense, others boost magic conduction, and some can be deadly poisons or rare resistances.
Here’s the key:
(C) Mana conductive
(N) Nen(Physic) conductive
(H) Heat conductive
(V) Electricity conductive
(G) NE(Negatice Magical Energy) Conductive
(M) Magnetic
(E) Edible
(A) Amplifying
(F) Flammable
(R) Radioactive
(X) Explosive
(S) Corrosive
(P) Poisonous
(D) Physical Defense
(J) Pain resistance
(T) Physical Damaging
(O) Mana Destroying
(Z) Narcoleptic
(Q) Paralytic
(U) Hallucinogenic
(W) Liquid Absorbent
(B) Heat Resistant
(Y) Electricity Resistant
(L) Nen Resistant
(K) NE (Negatice Magical Energy) Resistant
(?) Mental Resistant
(!) Mana Resistant
(I) Intangible affecting - (For Ghost or things of that nature)
(<) Light - (For making objects weigh less)
(>) Heavy - (For making objects weigh more)
(+) Each + means it gets either a boost to the speed of conduction, strengthens of the magnetic, corrosive, explosive, flammable or poisonous effect or ranks up the thing being amplified through it.
(-) Each - mans it gets either a penalty to the speed of conduction, resists the magnetic, corrosive, explosive, flammable or poisonous effect or ranks down the thing being amplified through it.
+1 to +5 / -1 to -5: Degree of enhancement or penalty.
Obtained from surface deposits, caves, and mines. Most commonly used in weapon/armor manufacturing due to their durability.
Sourced from flora across the land. Widely used in the creation of consumables, poisons, and elixirs.
Naturally occurring raw resources with no defined type, but often plentiful and useful in general crafting.
Harvested from creatures. The bigger or rarer the creature, the better the material traits. God Beasts and Subspecies have exclusive trait pools.
Size Grades: Small → Medium → Large → Colossus → Titanic
Grade: I - IX+
Rarer beasts yield more traits and stronger effects.
Mysterious, difficult-to-obtain substances with unpredictable effects. Often tied to aberrations, anomalies, or otherworldly zones.
A specialized category of raw materials. Primarily used as additives in crafting or as currency substitutes when gold/silver is unavailable.
Certain environments (heat, pressure, region, time) yield variant materials with altered traits. These are often named with colors (e.g., Crimson Iron, Dusklight Crystal).
Combination of similar material types.
Same-class materials blend better.
May inherit partial or full traits from both.
Formed by combining metals.
Primary metal (highest ratio) gives alloy its name.
If components are equal, it becomes a Pure Alloy with a custom name.
Weight = Sum of component weights ÷ number of types
Allows lighter alloys with enhanced traits.
These are exceptional, element-specific raw materials. Their effects are determined not by traditional traits but by elemental behavior. The form of the material (liquid, gas, solid) and the element (fire, water, wind, etc.) defines how it works.
Raw Materials are crucial for both economic and combat purposes in Banana Kingdom. From crafting deadly weapons to forging enchanted armor or mixing potent poisons, knowing your materials — their traits, grades, and ranks — gives you a competitive edge.
Whether you're a merchant, a smith, an alchemist, or a hunter — mastery of raw materials will shape your rise to power.
