The Power Struggles of Thalassara

In the fractured world of Thalassara, power is defined by shifting alliances and bitter rivalries. The central conflict of the age is the brutal war between the Concord of the Tides and the Verminclaw Pact.

The Concord, a fragile alliance of Avians, Humans, Elves, Gnomes, Dwarves, and Halflings, seeks to bring peace and prosperity to the world. They stand as a bulwark against the chaos and destruction sown by their enemies. In this fight, they find powerful, if cautious, allies. The ancient Skar’Thal Clan of Dragonborn, sworn protectors of dragonkind, lends their formidable might to the Concord’s cause. Similarly, the Deep Accord, a powerful union of Tritons and Selachii, emerges from the ocean's depths to assist, united in their goal to counter the rising chaos.

Opposing them is the vile Verminclaw Pact, a ruthless coalition of Goblins, Gnolls, Skaven, and Orcs. United by a hunger for conquest, they wage war with brutal, swarming tactics, seeking to dominate the world through sheer force.

Meanwhile, other factions maintain a careful neutrality. The Stoneborn Enclave, a reclusive faction of giant-blooded descendants, remains distant from the conflicts, their immense strength a deterrent to anyone who would dare provoke them. The Verdant Oath, a devoted group of Sylphelians and other races sworn to protect nature, dedicates themselves to safeguarding the natural world and worshiping the goddess Gaia. They accept any who will pledge to their sacred vegan path and vow to protect life. Lastly, the cunning Whisperclaw Syndicate, a formidable Khajit faction, controls the shadow markets and smuggling lanes. They remain neutral in the open war, content to profit from both sides and waiting to ally themselves with the victor.
